Description:
Harry Mitchell (Jack Thompson) is a ferry-driving, beer drinking, straight down the line widower. His son, Jeff (Russell Crowe) is an athletic 20-something plumber who happens to be gay; a fact that his broad-minded Dad has accepted with ease. For a Father and Son who live together, they get along like a house on fire, even if they do make an odd couple. While both are the best of friends each is lonely and searching for that special someone.,

For Harry, a world without women is like a barbeque without beer, so he joins a computer dating service and soon meets Joyce, an attractive divorcee, who is flattered by his old world charm. Jeff is not so lucky. His new love interest, Greg, just can't adjust to Harry's extreme open-mindedness and bolts just as things get going. Harry then meets with his own disappointment when Joyce reacts badly after discovering the truth about Jeff.,
