LONDON ELEKTRICITY have become a byword for groundbreaking “fast soul music”, ramming venues, destroying drum & bass crowds, leaving huge smiles all over the world. Coming to prominence at the turn of the 21st century, London Elektricity was initially a musical partnership between HOSPITAL RECORDS founding fathers Tony Colman and Chris Goss, as a vehicle for their twisted loungecore D&B creations. The oldskool classic ‘Pull The Plug’ (NHS12CD) was the first LP to bear the LE moniker, and was released to great critical acclaim in 1999. Tony took the LE mantle on solo around 2003 and released the seminal ‘Billion Dollar Gravy’ (NHS56CD) LP before the birth of the London Elektricity live show. Another classic album ‘Power Ballads’ (NHS95CD) and two live DVDs (NHS72DVD & NHSCDDVD107) followed off the back of a hectic touring schedule. All back catalogue CDs are still in print.

Tony Colman manages to combine heartfelt soul, with a level of musical literacy and emotion unparalleled in Drum & Bass. Put simply, no one is more musical and soulful in Drum & Bass than this act and their appeal stretches well beyond the D&B market.
