Born and raised San Franciscan skate punk-turned-singer/songwriter Hanni El Khatib has become best known for his raw, visceral live shows. Having graced the stage with the likes of FLORENCE & THE MACHINE, EDWARD SHARPE & THE MAGNETIC ZEROS and THE SOFT PACK, El Khatib’s music features in two current/separate worldwide campaigns for both CONVERSE and NIKE collecting over 1.8 million views. Khatib’s unique sound derives from inspirations including‘50/’60s blues, soul, garage rock & doo-wop and performers as varied as JOHNNY BRUNETTE, THE CRAMPS, SAM COOKE and THE ANIMALS. In his own words: “These songs were written for anyone who’s ever been shot or hit by a train. Knife fight music.”
