Thirteen years ago Nick Giannopoulos took his stand up act and transformed into a piece of landmark Australian comedy cinema in Wog Boy. This year comes the long awaited sequel – Wog Boy Kings of Mykonos and in celebration and anticipation, we are re-releasing the original. Nick Giannopoulos and Steve Karamatis are gainfully unemployed lay-abouts who model themselves on John Travolta and spend their time cruising local nightclubs for blondes. When Steve’s car is involved in a fender bender with the limo carrying the Federal Minister of Unemployment he decides to press for confirmation but instead of paying up the Minister sticks a tabloid reporter on him trying to reveal him as Australia’s worst welfare cheat. Now Steve needs to persuade the reporter, the minister, Australia and his new girlfriend that he is not who he has been made out to be.
