There's only one way that the electro-loving club kids come to realise that a new year is just around the corner, and that's when they see the latest instalment of Ministry of Sound Annual hits the shelves. John Course pumps it up on Disc One with a slew of #1 ARIA club chart hits including the unstoppable Fedde Le Grand / Ida Corr collaboration “Let Me Think About It”, New York juggernaut Armand Van Helden’s huge house hit “I Want Your Soul”, the gimmicky goodness of Samim “Heater”, The Potbelleez “Don’t Hold Back” and of course not forgetting The Chemical Brothers “Salmon Dance.” Goodwill takes the reigns for Disc 2, and with a big giddeyup things head up a notch, with Hard-Fi “Suburban Knights” and Peter Gelderbloms’ massive rework of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers “Waiting For.” Will’s disc also showcases an amazing breed of Aussie talent - with some fabulous electro/indie hits from PNAU, Sneaky Sound System, Bag Raiders, The Aston Shuffle, Klaus Hill, Tommy Trash, Attack Attack and the Midnight Juggernauts.

Comments about VARIOUS - MIXED BY JOHN COURSE / GOODWILL MINISTRY OF SOUND: THE 2008 ANNUAL:

Everyone keeps bagging this Annual but I like it because it dares to be different. After last year's amazing Australian Annual I'll admit this year's doesn't even compare. Having said that I don't think it's terrible or anything and I'm still listening to it now in August occasionally.

Comments about VARIOUS - MIXED BY JOHN COURSE / GOODWILL MINISTRY OF SOUND: THE 2008 ANNUAL:

After been an addict to the Ministry of sound Albums, this one comes as a rude shock, though Original, I found it hard to be in Rhythm with, you might as well have had two track titles only, One for CD 1 and one for CD 2, definetly would not recommend to friends, and I would hesitate to buy the next volume.sorry guys, the beat doesnt strike my dance strings at all.

Comments about VARIOUS - MIXED BY JOHN COURSE / GOODWILL MINISTRY OF SOUND: THE 2008 ANNUAL:

Hopeless! 2 or 3 good tracks, that are on all the compilations this season.
MoS have a reputation for bringing out a legendary compilation every year (especially the AU versions), this one is a massive let down.

Comments about VARIOUS - MIXED BY JOHN COURSE / GOODWILL MINISTRY OF SOUND: THE 2008 ANNUAL:

Not even remotely close to what you might expect from MOS. I don't know if they're purposely trying to lose popularity or the no-one listened to the CD before it got released, but it was plain awful. Songs are really weird, unorganised, not even electro house - just weird sounds and noises.
